Counselling was built on a simple belief.
Everyone deserves access to quality counselling, regardless of their financial circumstances. That belief is the reason Counsellors Together exists.
Our story
Counsellors Together was founded in Cornwall and remains rooted here. We saw two things at once — long waiting lists for low-cost counselling, and trainee counsellors struggling to find quality placements. The organisation was built to answer both.
Today we serve clients across Cornwall and the wider UK by phone and online, while continuing to train, supervise, and work alongside counsellors at every stage of their career.
What CIC means
We are a Community Interest Company — registered as company number 9276052. That status legally binds us to reinvest what we earn into our purpose: making counselling more accessible, supporting the next generation of practitioners, and strengthening the community we serve.
We are not a private practice. We are not a commercial platform. We are a community organisation, run by counsellors, for the people who need counselling.

Accessibility
We exist because not everyone can afford private counselling. Our pricing, our delivery, and our outreach are all built around lowering the barriers to being heard.
Confidentiality
What is shared in the room is held with care, within clear ethical limits. People come to us at vulnerable times. That trust shapes everything we do.
Community
We are part of the Cornish community and part of the wider counselling community. We grow what we have together — with clients, counsellors, and partners.
